In 2021, we registered as an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization). At that time, we thought it would just be a formality to register our association Villa4KidsLife e.V. with the social welfare office in Cape Coast. We named the House Villa4Kids.

In 2022, we opened the Villa4Kids house.This has now grown from a one to a two-storey building thanks to donations and is almost finished.

The good news is that, thanks to your help, Villa4Kids is finished, apart from a few minor details, and it's turned out beautifully. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us.  

In 2023, when we wanted to finally register the Villa4Kids, the shock came: The authorities informed us that there is no longer a permit to open an orphanage for children. There is a government declaration, that children are better off staying in the family (grandparents, aunt, etc.) and all existing NGOs should be checked. Of 30 NGOs, 19 have been closed so far.
